- Clear unapplied and unidentified cash promptly, escalating missing or unclear remittance details for resolution
- Support monthly reconciliation of assigned bank accounts, Cash in Transit (CIT), Cash, and Petty Cash accounts, and investigate cash application-related differences
- Complete daily cash application and reconciliation activities within month-end close deadlines, ensuring receipts are posted to the correct period and supporting the transfer and reconciliation of cash activity to the GL
- Monitor unapplied, unidentified, and on-account cash and aged items, coordinating with AR, Collections, Treasury, GL, and other teams to obtain remittance details and resolve exceptions
- Maintain complete cash application, remittance, and reconciliation support, and provide schedules and documentation for internal and external audit requirements
- Support process improvements in cash matching and application by identifying repetitive activities, recurring exceptions, and opportunities for automation and standardization
- Provide backup coverage during month-end and quarter-end close and work effectively with Finance stakeholders to resolve receipt issues

You'll thrive in this role if you bring:
- Strengths in AR cash application, receipt matching, and unapplied cash resolution
- Experience in finance operations, accounts receivable, or cash management
- The ability to review remittance information, investigate payment differences, and resolve cash application exceptions
- The ability to work effectively with AR, Collections, Treasury, and GL teams and communicate clearly
