This role offers flexibility to work fully remote or from our modern, collaborative offices inSerbia, Poland, or Hungary—your choice. You'll be part of an international team dedicated to excellence in clinical research operations.
AsInvestigator Payment Lead, you will be the go-to expert for investigator payment management across assigned studies. You'll coordinate seamlessly with project teams, site contracts specialists, and clinical operations to ensure timely, accurate payments and effective budget management. You'll drive process improvements, mentor team members, and maintain the highest standards of financial stewardship.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead ownershipof investigator payment queries and serve as primary contact for project teams
Manage end-to-endpayment processes, including setup, modifications, and reconciliation within our payment systems
Drive proactive problem-solvingwith accountability for timely resolution and risk mitigation
Lead study startup meetingsas the Investigator Payment representative, ensuring payment strategies are clearly documented
Oversee audits and inspectionsrelated to investigator payments
Analyze and presentpayment data and reports to internal and external stakeholders
Mentor and trainteam members on payment processes and best practices
Identify and implementprocess efficiencies and system improvements
Ensure compliancewith contractual payment timelines and Parexel SOPs
Resolve escalated issuesand payment discrepancies with accuracy and attention to detail
Collaborate cross-functionallywith Project Leadership, Site Contracts, eClinical, and Clinical Operations teams
What We're Looking For...
Preferred Experience:
Background in a Clinical Research Organization preferred
Knowledge of clinical trial pricing and budgeting tools
Understanding of CRO operations and the investigator payment function's strategic importance
Experience with payment systems and financial reconciliation
Education:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent
Essential Skills:
Excellent written and verbal communication in English
Advanced proficiency in MS Excel (pivot tables, data analysis, complex formulas)
Strong proficiency in MS Outlook, Teams, PowerPoint, and Word
Analytical mindset with meticulous attention to detail
Ability to make sound decisions and advise colleagues in ambiguous situations
Root cause analysis and problem-solving capabilities
Professional customer-facing skills with patience and quality focus
Ability to juggle multiple priorities and manage complex workloads
Comfortable thriving in a decentralized, matrix environment
Team player with strong interpersonal skills
