What You’ll Do

As a Clinical Research Physician, you’ll provide medical oversight and serve as an Investigator on assigned early-phase clinical trials. Your responsibilities will include:

• Serve as an Investigator and execute appropriate Investigator responsibilities for assigned clinical studies.
• Provide medical and clinical oversight throughout study conduct.
• Evaluate study participants through physical examinations, medical histories, laboratory data, and inclusion/exclusion criteria.
• Provide medical consultation and clinical guidance to research staff and study sponsors.
• Review safety information, including adverse events, concomitant medications, laboratory findings, vital signs, and other clinical data.
• Assess adverse events for clinical significance, severity, seriousness, and relationship to investigational products.
• Work closely with clinical operations colleagues to ensure high-quality, efficient, and compliant study execution.
• Collaborate directly with sponsors regarding study conduct and progression.
• Support clinical protocols, reports, safety documentation, and other study-related materials.
• Help ensure studies are conducted in accordance with Good Clinical Practice (GCP), SOPs, and applicable regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with physician colleagues and local/regional medical consultants.
• Contribute to the development and training of clinical operations team members.

What We’re Looking For

Required

• MD or DO degree
• Ability to obtain and maintain an unrestricted California medical license
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Detail-oriented approach with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced clinical research environment
• English language proficiency

Preferred

• At least 2 years of clinical practice experience
• Board certification in a general medical specialty or equivalent experience
• Previous clinical or pharmaceutical research experience
• Familiarity with the FDA-regulated drug development process
